COVID-19 may have created the need for social distancing but it cannot stop humankind from seeking out new ways to stay connected. Now more than ever, it is important to our well being to stay in touch with friends, family, and our community.
For our little ones, it is especially difficult and upsetting to explain why their party must be put off this year due to a pandemic.

To help stay connected, GIFTED is now offering invitations for virtual parties. The best part? The virtual nature of the gathering allows friends & family members from around the country — who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend — to join and participate.
WHAT ABOUT ENTERTAINMENT?
GIFTED has partnered with The Birthday Portal to support all your children’s virtual birthday parties. The Birthday Portal offers a selection of top entertainment, from your favourite princess or superhero to playtime with exotic animals and much more. Using technology, they will bring your guests together so everyone can enjoy your child’s birthday party from the comfort of their home. Easily share the group link provided using one of our new virtual party invitations. Kids will be entertained for 30 minutes followed by a birthday singsong and warm birthday wishes.
WHAT ABOUT GIFTS?
This is a difficult time for many and gifting may not be possible for all. We understand these aren’t the types of parties guests are used to going to, but we promise The Birthday Portal will deliver a big chunk of fun!
We recommend telling your guests the following:
“We understand times are uncertain so please feel no obligation to give a gift. Should you choose to still give, we suggest $5-$10, a portion of which will go towards supporting our selected charity.”
HOW TO CREATE YOUR VIRTUAL PARTY
Create your virtual birthday party the same easy way you created all your previous GIFTED parties with 2 simple differences:
• Leave the location fields blanks or type in ‘Your home’
• Add the online link to your event in the additional comments box.
